I’m a barber that went through the SMP training at Rainier Ink and this course definitely has me locked in. They provided us with a kit that has pretty much everything you need to start. Frequently Asked Training Questions

No prior experience is required. Our training program is designed to teach SMP from the ground up, whether you're coming from a beauty background, medical field, or an entirely different career. The only qualification that is required to matriculate is a Blood Borne Pathogens Certification (check your particular state requirements). Blood Borne Pathogen certifications can be completed online. You must present proof of completion before taking the course.

Beau Butcher and Isabel Salmoran, founders of SMP INK Seattle and Rainier Academy

Beau and Isabel are a husband and wife team that founded SMP INK Seattle and Rainier Academy in 2018. Beau discovered SMP through his own hair loss experience, when In 2015 he had to travel out of state to get his procedure done. Isabel was currently in between semesters at the University of Washington and traveled with him to observe his SMP procedure. After coming home and realizing that no one in the pacific northwest was offering SMP, they immediately immersed themselves in the permanent cosmetics industry, and laid the foundation for starting their own business. SMP INK Seattle is now one of the most well known SMP companies in the nation. Beau and Isabel have performed thousands of treatments on clients from all around the country, and pride themselves on providing world class results.
