Meet Isabel, Master Artist and Educator
Isabel was born and raised in Mexico City and moved to Washington state when she was 17. She has lived in Washington state ever since. She fell in in love with the Pacific Northwest immediately; enjoying its natural beauty and changing seasons. She loves boating in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. A proud dog mom of 3 bulldogs, yes 3, she is usually walking trails with her pups on her off days.
Isabel’s transition to a new life in the states was challenging. like any other immigrant she had to overcome a language barrier and cultural differences during her transition to becoming a US citizen. Those challenges did not stop her from finishing high school in Seattle, and then achieving a Bachelors degree in biology at the University of Washington. Her initial plan was to go to dental school after her Bachelors was completed. During the transition of getting admitted into dental school she discovered permanent cosmetics when her then future husband to be got SMP done on himself.
What initially led her to pursuing dentistry ended up being the reason she chose a career in permeant cosmetics; people. During her time at UW she went on a dental mission to Africa. She assisted the dentists in performing dental hygiene for a remote village and orphanage in Uganda. She saw first hand how removing a painful cavity, or cleanings someone’s teeth literally change their life. She knew right away that her calling was to help people. When she saw how much SMP changed her husbands life, she went all in on permanent cosmetics.
Isabel is master certified in SMP, Microblading, Lip Blushing, and Scar Camouflage. She loves achieving the perfect look for each and everyone of her clients, and changing their lives through the art of permeant cosmetics. Izzy is also a passionate educator and loves to help her students start their journey as future business owners and PMU and SMP technicians.
