What Is Beard Micropigmentation?
Beard micropigmentation is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment that places tiny pigment impressions in the skin to replicate the look of real hair follicles across the beard area. Pigments are matched to your skin tone and existing hair color so the result blends into your natural facial hair rather than sitting on top of it.
It's the same follicle-replication approach we use in scalp micropigmentation — adapted for the shorter, denser growth pattern of a beard. Because it's non-surgical, there's no transplant, no incisions, and no downtime between sessions.

The Process

Consultation
We start with a free consultation to review your beard growth pattern, the areas you want to fill or sharpen, your skin tone, and your natural hair color. Together we plan the shape, density, and beard line that fit your face and lifestyle.
- Step 2
First Session
Your first session establishes the foundation — placing pigment impressions across the target areas at a conservative density so the result looks natural from day one. Sessions are non-surgical and performed in-studio at our Federal Way location.
- Step 3
Density & Refinement
A follow-up session builds density, evens out any lighter areas, and refines the beard line. Sessions are typically spaced 10–20 days apart so pigment can settle before the next pass.
- Step 4
Final Detailing
The final session dials in the finished look — sharpening the beard line, blending any transitions, and matching tone to your surrounding hair. Most clients complete their beard micropigmentation in two to three sessions.
